SHARPENER – SHARPENING AND REPAIR

We offer a traditional and precise sharpening service for kitchen knives, scissors, special blades, and garden tools. Every knife is hand-sharpened with artisanal care, ensuring optimal results.

Specifically, we sharpen:

KITCHEN KNIVES:

- Bread knives;

- Table knives;

- Pizza knives;

- Steak knives.

SCISSORS:

- Nail and cuticle scissors;

- Garden shears;

- Sheep and cattle shears.

MEAT SLICERS:

- The part of the slicers we sharpen is the disc.

THE MACHINES

For basic grinding, we usually use a wet grinder (a machine with a large round abrasive stone, where the water feed can be adjusted; the abrasive stone has a grit of 80) or a grinder with sandpaper (there are various sandpapers with grits of 80, 100, and 120).

For finishing grinding, we use the same grinder with an abrasive sanding belt, and here we use the finest grinding belts (this refines the basic grinding).

​

For the final sharpening, we use an abrasive stone with a grit of 1200 (to highlight the sharpness of the knives, we polish them on the sharpening stone)
